Immune-supporting Recipe

Hello, today we have a bright, immune-supporting recipe to share with you and your family. The taste is a beautiful balance between sweet and zesty. This blend combines lemon, pineapple, yellow pepper, and ginger to create an infusion overflowing with antioxidants and vitamin C.Enjoy!⁣

Clean, prep and chop all ingredients to fit your juicer. Juice in the order given.⁣

1 lemon, peeled⁣
1/2 pineapple⁣
1 yellow pepper⁣
1 inch piece of ginger⁣

Lemon- We love lemons around here. Incorporating lemon juice is a great way to start your day. Lemons are an antioxidant rich source of vitamin C, known to act as an antiseptic agent that can support our immune system. Just one lemon can provide 1/3 of your daily vitamin C. ⁣

Pineapple – Like a lot of the other ingredients in this recipe, pineapple is bursting with vitamin C. This nutrient offers some degree of protection against illnesses like the common cold. When juicing your pineapple, don’t forget you can use the core!⁣

Yellow Bell Pepper – We commonly associate citrus and fruits with vitamin C. But did you know bell peppers can be just as rich of a source? One bell pepper has more vitamin C than that of an orange! This makes them a great addition to your immune-supporting juice recipes. ⁣

Ginger – Ginger is a spicy root, perfect for cooking or juicing. Ancient cultures have been using ginger for centuries to support⁣
the immune system through its antiviral and antibacterial properties. While great for prevention, ginger is also a great addition while sick. Adding a touch of ginger to juices, smoothies, or soups helps prevent and soothe an upset stomach.⁣
