Broccoli - Broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables contain an impressive profile of nutrients. Most notably, they contain an extract called glucoraphanin. Glucoraphanin is converted by the body to sulforaphane. This compound shows promising benefits ranging from cardiovascular health to diabetes to inflammatory conditions and more.⁣

Oranges - Oranges contain 8 of the essential 13 B vitamins our body needs. B complex vitamins are essential for a body process called methylation. Methylation helps us repair genetic material, respond better to stress, and create energy.⁣

Lemon - We don’t often think of lemons as having a positive effect on our cardiovascular health. But lemons are a great source of hesperidin. This compound is thought to provide protection against inflammation, hypertension, and high cholesterol. ⁣

Celery - Celery contains an abundance of nutrients with antioxidant properties. One of the lesser known nutrients is Molybdenum. This powerful nutrient plays an important role in enzyme activity within the body. Molybdenum can help with the detoxification of sulfites, alcohol, and other chemicals.⁣

Lime - Like other forms of citrus, limes are great for your overall health. They supply a good source of vitamins, limonoids, and flavonoids, essential for human health. These nutrients are antioxidants shown to have anti-inflammatory benefits which may protect our hearts and brain.⁣
