Recipes that kids love so much

Hello. This one will remind you of a refreshing watermelon-cherry limeade. Watermelon is one of our favorite warm weather treats. But the addition of cherries and tart lemon really make this recipe one to remember!⁣

Watermelon and Cherry: 20 ounces 🍉🍋🍒⁣
Clean, prep and chop all ingredients to fit your juicer. Juice in the order given⁣

2 cups watermelon, rind removed⁣
1 cup cherries, pits removed⁣
1 lemon, peeled⁣

Watermelon – Watermelon is packed with water, electrolytes, vitamins, and phytonutrients, like lycopene and beta carotene. It actually contains MORE lycopene than all other fruits and veggies. Lycopene is known to protect your skin against sun damage and may even lower your risk of sunburn. To get the most lycopene out of your watermelon, choose a ripe one with a bright, red flesh.⁣

Cherries – Just like the bright, red flesh of watermelons, the red flesh of cherries is an antioxidant powerhouse. Cherries are a rich source of polyphenols, melatonin, carotenoids, vitamin E and vitamin C. These nutrients function to protect the body from free radical damage like cell damage, illness and aging.⁣
Lemon – Lemons add a great pucker and bite to just about any recipe. But we also love them for their nutrient content. They happen to be an incredibly rich source of vitamin C. Getting plenty of this nutrient helps with healthy skin, collagen, and connective tissues.⁣
