Sorbet Recipe

We have been making sorbets with frozen summer berries and stone fruits. We provides an easy way to enjoy these summer flavors into the Fall and Winter. We like adding a little plain yogurt that we have pre-frozen. We then add some of the yogurt along with the frozen fruit to create a slightly creamier texture. If you are watching out for extra sugars and chemicals it is nice to find a super plain yogurt with no additives and then just freeze some in large ice cube trays. This way you know exactly what is in your sorbet. If your berries are really tart add a date (make sure you remove the pit!) or drizzle some raw honey on top of your serving. Today we are showing two flavors, peach and yogurt sorbet and a raspberry and yogurt sorbet. Enjoy!
