Delicious Green Juice

Hello, we have a delicious green juice for you today, sweetened with melon and peaches. Enjoy!⁣

Clean, prep and chop all ingredients to fit your juicer. Juice in the order given⁣

1/2 honeydew⁣
1/2 cucumber⁣
6 Romaine Leaves⁣
3 Peaches, pits removed⁣

Honeydew – Honeydew is a nice mildly sweet fruit. Like most melons, honeydew contains a large amount of water, which prevents dehydration. Not only is it nearly 90% water, it’s blended with a great balance of electrolytes to keep you hydrated throughout the late summer and early fall days.⁣

Cucumber – Cucumbers are a great addition to juicing recipes. They provide a lot of yield, are low calorie, low sugar, and high in valuable nutrients. The nutrients like flavonoids and tannins have free radical-fighting abilities which defend us from cell damage, illness and aging.⁣

Romaine Lettuce – Just like cucumbers, romaine lettuce is a low calorie/sugar option that really pumps up the nutrient content of your juice. It’s rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. These nutrients neutralize free radicals which can lead to cancer, heart disease, and arthritis.⁣

Peaches – This tasty, fuzzy fruit is an excellent source of lutein and zeaxanthin. Both of these nutrients can protect your eye health. They are known to protect the retina and lens of your eyes and may even reduce your risk of macular degeneration.⁣
