Excellent Green Vegetable Juice

Hello, today we’re sharing a different spin on green juice. Instead of the leafy greens often found in green juice, we’ve used a combination of green fruits and vegetables like kiwi, broccoli, green apple, and cucumber. If you’re new to vegetable juices, this recipe is a great place to start.
Broccoli and Kiwi
Clean, prep and chop all ingredients to fit your juicer. Juice in the order given
3 kiwi, peeled
2 cups broccoli
1 green apple
1 lemon, peeled
1 cucumber
approx. 16 ounces

Kiwi - Kiwis are in season through January, making them a great addition to winter juice blends. They are one of the most vitamin E-rich fruits. This is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from aging by neutralizing free radicals and reducing inflammation.
Broccoli - Broccoli provides a whole lot of plant powder. One of the most beneficial compounds in broccoli supports the production of sulforaphane. Sulforaphane helps with the body's own ability to reduce inflammation, release toxins, and balance hormones.
Apple - Apples add a touch of sweetness, which makes them perfect to add to your vegetable blends. The skin of the apple contains a compound called quercetin, a bioactive flavonoid. Quercetin helps block mast cell activation to improve allergies and histamine response within the body.
Lemon - Lemons are a great juicing staple. Incorporating lemon juice on a regular basis provides a wide range of health benefits. They are an antioxidant rich source of vitamin C, which is essential to bone, gum, and skin health. Just one lemon can provide 1/3 of your daily vitamin C.
Cucumber - One of the most beneficial nutrients in cucumbers is Silicon. Silicon is considered a top beauty nutrient. It’s known to improve elasticity of the skin, stimulate collagen production, and can even help hair grow thicker.
