2 lemongrass stalks (white parts and then chopped)
4 -6 romaine lettuce leaves
1 cucumber
1 cup fresh pineapple, peel removed
Yield: approx. 16 ounces

Lemongrass – Lemongrass is a popular herb used to flavor many foods and beverages. It is native to the tropical regions of Asia and Africa. Lemongrass has been used in healing practices for centuries to ease gastrointestinal, blood pressure, and nervous disorders. Today, lemongrass is commonly used to help with sleep and reduce anxiety. One of the best qualities of lemongrass is its antioxidant properties. Lemongrass can actually inhibit inflammatory markers in the body.
Cucumber – Cucumbers are the perfect juice addition for healthy skin. They are filled with water and electrolytes, which help hydrate the skin. But they are also a great source of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). This vitamin helps fight acne formation. It works to reduce excess oil production by increasing a compound called coenzyme A. Vitamin B5 may also moisturize the skin and help speed up wound healing – all essential for healthy skin.
Pineapple – Pineapple is a digestion superfood. It contains a compound called bromelain, which supports a healthy functioning digestive system. It’s widely used as a digestive enzyme. When consumed during a meal, it helps break down and digest other food and nutrients. Bromelain is incredibly bioavailable and not deactivated by our stomach acid.
