Kale - Kale is part of the cruciferous vegetable family along with cabbage, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and radishes. This family of vegetables is rich in Dindolylmethane (DIM). DIM helps the body with the liver’s natural detox process, DNA repair, inflammation, and healthy cell metabolism.⁣

Ginger - Ginger has a number of benefits. Those with inflammatory diseases like arthritis may see improvement from ginger consumption. The compounds in ginger reduce inflammatory immune response and pain. ⁣

Pear - When juicing with pears, consider leaving the peel on. Pears have many active compounds, like flavonoids, triterpenoids, and phenolic acids. Many of which are found in the skin of the pear. These compounds promote healthy blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure. ⁣

Grapefruit - Grapefruits are an excellent source of Vitamin C. This nutrient helps neutralize toxins and cellular waste that can cause damage to our healthy cells. It’s also an important nutrient for the health of our skin, blood vessels and red blood cells. ⁣
