Wheatgrass Packed Green Juice

Happy Green Juice Day! Today we have a delicious wheatgrass packed green juice. Wheatgrass has long been used for its detoxification and cleansing properties. If you find drinking a wheatgrass shot difficult then this juice might be good for you as it dilutes that strong grass flavor. The pineapple sweetens this recipe and brings along digestive enzymes and anti-inflammatory properties. The cucumbers are wonderful for their water content and for how they support hydration and cleansing in the body. The mint leaves are lovely for digestion and bring a refreshing flavor to this recipe. Enjoy!⁣

wash, peel, prep and chop your ingredients:⁣

1 to 2 handfuls wheatgrass ⁣
1/2 cup packed mint leaves ⁣
1/2 pineapple, peeled ⁣
1 cucumber⁣

approx. 22oz depending on size of ingredients⁣

please note:⁣
*start out easy with the wheatgrass if you are not use to it -maybe one small handful of the grass blades. See how you feel and work up to a larger amount slowly.⁣
*wheatgrass is sold in the produce section at large grocery stores usually in a growing tray. You will have to cut the amount you will want to use and then set in a windowsill and use more the following day. Alternatively, juice it all and then add in a tablespoon or two to this recipe. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container or freeze the rest.⁣
*if you need to cut the wheatgrass flavor even more try adding an apple.
